Spring Break (I should win a Mother of the Year award)

Do you want to know why I should win a mother of the year award?  I didn't know my kids had a week off for spring break until the friday spring break started.  Yep, I am very on top of things.  So we hurried and called the time share and said "We want to go somewhere in UT for a week starting tomorrow."  And guess what?  There was one free at Jeremy's ranch, just outside of Park City.  Yeah us.  So, I packed up 9 kids and took off the next day.  It was great just to chill and have no responsiblity.  Well, except for keeping 9 kids fed and alive.  We would get out of our jammies to put our swimsuits on to get back into jammies.  It was fantastic.  John came up Sunday after church then Thur. after work he stayed until Sat. morning and ran the bigger boys to soccer (a bit important since John is the coach) and James to swimming and the girls and I packed up.  So I have a few pictures. Imagine that, I have pictures. A lot of pictures.  Don't get too bored.  I must apologize.  We only did hair maybe once.  We were that lazy. ha ha

 Just Chillaxin'

It was cold so this is how the poor babies had to hang out at the pool.  The pool was heated, but still too cold for them.

He got sucked into the couch.  AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
They have been totally into Star Wars Monopoly.  They played it constantly.
We did lots of wii playing.  Not as much as I thought, because we had a Psych marathon.  I love that show.  We have seen every episode, but it was fun to go back and watch them again.  I love Netflix.

Becca makes a fantastic pillow.  She fell asleep on the way home from the outlet malls.  Way lots of fun shopping.  I got a lot of funny looks and comments hauling all these kids around.
I had my 34th birthday while we were up there.  The kids were cute.  Annie came and got the babies from me so I could stay in bed.  They also brought me breakfast in bed of pop tarts and a muffin.  It was wonderful.  My kids are great.  They weren't happy about this photo, but they humored me.

 Outside the condo.

Poor Ellie bumped into the sauna and burned her hand.  Luckily it wasn't horrible, but it was sad to see her little hand print on it.

They fell asleep before the movie even started.  Those are some tired girls.

Cassie spelled out their names in cookies.  We are great at entertaining ourselves.

 Thats quite the clean face.
We stayed up late into the night playing mexican train.  This is not mexican train.  The kids just had fun with the dominoes.
We got all ready to go visit Park City but as we were going, so was a storm.  We ended up just driving around.  Annie can't handle heights.  She was freaking out as we drove around.  Poor thing.

Here is some of our favorite sites of Park City.

That is a heck of a lot of stairs to get to your front door.
Of course the kids had to get out and run the stairs.
We spent lots of time in the pool, can you tell?

We even colored easter eggs.  I think I could sell 90% of all of our stuff and move into an apartment.  It nice not having a lot of stuff.

We even played a bit of pool.
Becca made a fun pool toy with this popped inter-tube filled with water.
We let Josh get in for a few mins.  He loved it.  I wish it was warmer.  Well, there you have it.  Our spring break.  I hope yours was just as much fun.

That looks like so much fun!! A warm pool to play in, sightseeing in Park City, lazing around, playing games...I'm guessing the kids loved it and didn't complain a bit. Poor little hand on the sauna. :(
