I am still in shock that I have a teenager. It seems like I blinked and she went from this tiny baby I brought home from the hospital and played dress up with to this beautiful young woman who doesn't need me to do her hair or pick out her clothes anymore. She is such an amazing girl. She has to face things that I never dreamed of having to face in jr high. She is a beautiful dancer, a great trombone and piano player, the best babysitter I have ever had. I love that she loves books as much as I do. I love that she is modest, clean, and not too boy crazy yet. I love that she loves to hang out with us. I love that she wants a face book, but she is patiently waiting for me to be ready for her to have a face book. (I only get elbowed when people mention f.b. ha ha) I love that when I start getting overwhelmed with life, she straightens up the house. I love that she remembers the first time she yelled she hated me. She was only 4. She remembers how awful she felt and didn't know how to face me again. I love that she still hugs and kisses me goodnight and goodbye. I love that she is such a great friend.
I could go on and on and on about Rebecca, but instead, I thought it would be fun to show her growing up through pictures. We have missed a few times ( and we didn't start until she was 3). But we usually get the kids photos taken twice a year at the school. So, here is Rebecca.
fall 2001 almost 4 1st year of preschool
Spring 2002 4 years old ( I love her band-aid and her little cartoon sandals. Oh, why can't they wear Velcro sandals forever.)
fall 2002 almost 5 2nd year of preschool (She did get glasses this year, but she didn't wear them for the picture. We had the hardest time remembering her glasses.)
fall 2003 almost 6 Kindergarten
spring 2004 6 years old
fall 2004 almost 7 1st grade ( I love her missing tooth)
fall 2005 almost 8 2nd grade (Bam. She has grown up teeth.)
spring 2006 8 years old (she was so excited to cut her hair. I hope Annie doesn't read this. She has been begging me to cut hers, but I won't let her. I don't want her to know when I let Becca.)
fall 2006 almost 9 years old 3rd grade
spring 2007 9 years old (Darn it. The photo was scratched.)
fall 2007 10 years old 4th grade
spring 2008 10 years old
fall 2008 almost 11 5th grade
spring 2009 11 years old (we forgot this day was picture day. Oh well, she is still cute with a ponytail.)
fall 2009 almost 12 6th grade
spring 2010 12 years old
Jr. high. almost 13 7th grade.
Well, there you have it. Isn't she so stinkin cute? She is growing up gorgeous? Her braces are even cute.

She is growing up too fast. Before you know it she will be done with school and moving on. Enjoy her while you have her.
WOW! The kids are changing . . . literally before my eyes!
Each of them are so precious and make me smile at their pictures.
Thanks for putting these on your blog!
These are a keepsake.
Love you all!
Grandma
By the way, your teenager is beautiful!
