We crashed Denises spring break and headed to St. George. I took hundreds of photos so I will just share some of my favorites. We had way to much fun. John had to stay to go on a campout with the young mens so it was just me and 7 kids, Denise and her 4 kids, Laura and Tim and 2 of their kids and my mom and dad. Brian and JoLyn live there. So, here is some of our trip in photos. (Please excuse the spelling and grammar problems. I don't feel well and I want to lay down for a few mins. So I just dont really care. ha ha Hopefully it makes sense.)
Also, turn your sound on. This is by Insideout Accapella "peanut butter and jelly" was our theme song for this roadtrip. Do you like it? We love it.
Lots and lots of bike riding. I took out half of the back seat of my bus and was able to fit in 4 bikes to go there and 5 to come home.
Jason and Annie would ride up hills and walk down. Kind of backwards. Annie was getting the hang of hills before we left, but Jason hated the hills.
Poor Mia was so tired after riding in the burley. Such hard work ;) It was funny though. Mia and Carlos were in the burley. Jason was struggling up a hill so I told him to get off and walk so Mia and Carlos tried to climb out of the burley. ha ha.
We went to some cool rocks and I had way too much fun taking photos. I could have all day.
This photo crackes me up. It looks like Dylan is falling down the mountain. He wasn't BTW. Just in case you were worried.
Sweet kids
Zoomed up. I had lots of fun editing these photos. Do you like it?
This is my attempt at an artsy photo. I am not sure if I like it editede or if I should have just left it.
We were up pretty high. I just tried not to think about it and shoot photos.
Yes, James has no fear.
My favorite photo from the rock shoot.
Silly boy.
Annie had a great time riding. Her cute pink cheeks.
That was a lot of sand in Jasons shoes.
He had a sand moustache and unibrow. We had red sand everywhere.
There was some super cool cocoons in the tree.
Sleepy before we had even left to Snow Canyon park place.
We went to the hotel to swim and went back to the snow canyon place for dinner. Here are some fun pictures from that.
These are some of the cool zooming photos.
There we are.
My cute kids.
We let the kids climb all over the place. Jason had to go potty super bad and becca was closer to him so she rush him around the shrubs and got him to the yucky hole potty. I was almost there when she opened the door to change me places and we heard a rattle and she took off high stepping it out of there, screaming "RATTLE SNAKE" so I freeze. I have never seen someone run so fast. So I am just standing there trying to figure out how to get jason out of the bathroom when there is a rattle snake in between us. Brian came hustling over and was finding a big stick but ended up with just some twigs. ha ha Then my dad got there and they were throwing rocks and the trying to scare him away. he curled up and rattled and everything. Of course the little boys come over to see. Had to keep them at a distance, but they thought it was cool to see it. Dad and Brian got him moved enough I could go in and and help Jason finish. Then as we left, my dad told us where to walk since he was standing gaurd inbetween the snake and us. He told us where to walk but told us not to go to far since there could be more. That was comforting. ha ha :) This photo is Jason pointing at the potty.
We went shopping at the outlets and went in the del sol store. I was going to buy the kids all a ring when a worker guy said that if the kids would go outside and scream "I love Del Sol" he would give them a ring of their choice. So they did. Our family heard all around the mall. It was so funny.
Then we went to a ghost town. It was fascinating.
We went to the graveyard. It was neat.
We went to another state park and tried to see some anazai ruins, but it didn't work so we just went back to the snow canyon park.
Where Mia had an accident. (Not a good idea to potty train on a road trip!!!) I was going to get her clean up when Ethan came running back saying that Annie fell off her bike. So Brian ran after her and carried her back She road rashed both knees and elbow. Then as we were cleaning up, some people came looking for us to tell us that Sarah had fallen off the rocks that they were playing on. So D. Bri and dad went to got get her. She had flipped off. Becca watched the whole thing and was pretty tramatized. Poor Sarah was scratched up and banged up pretty bad. She will survive, but it was awfully scary. I am so glad that she is okay. So, there you have it. Hope you had a nice weekend.
