Newberry Conundrum (opinions needed)

So I am copying my sister Claudine.  (Dang it is hard to call her that)  I mean I am copying Sis and going to read the Newberry award books.  I need your opinion because I can't decide if I should reread the ones I read as a child or just the ones I haven't read.  I read the graveyard one not too long ago, and a few other, so I don't think I will read those, but what about Sarah plain and tall and Dear Mr. Henshaw that I haven't read in many many moons.  What do you think?

Speaking as the one being "copied"...I'm reading the Newbery's not the Caldecott's...so right there you're in trouble. :) LOL. I decided to not re-read the ones that I remembered well. I wanted to focus on the ones that I hadn't read. Although, there is sometimes a GOOD reason I haven't read them. the one I just finished took me almost 3 weeks to read! I did not like it at all!!! (I'll easily read 3 books in a week, not 3 3 weeks to a book!) So, that is what I decided...can't wait to see what you do so we can compare!

crap. okay. I'll change it. I was just telling John about it, and realized I said Caldecott. Oops. Have you read the first one? I am starting with it, but I don't think I am going to get very far. It is huge and super boring. I don't like history and it is a non-fiction about history. boo
