Busy Birthday

James is 9.  Can you believe it?  I sure can't.  It has been a fun 9 years.  He has such a cute personality.  He will be famous someday.  He loves to joke and to be the center of attention.  I should have known what an exciting and fun-filled life he would share with us when he was born.  With in a few few mins. of life, he had peed on the nurse . . .  twice.

Isn't he super cute?  This was taken in 2004, on Easter. A face likes that makes you smile.

He had a super busy birthday. Laura came with Spencer and Kylie for a visit for spring break. James thought it was pretty cool they could be here (I just picked some of my favorite photos of the day.  Since I took 214, it may seem like I posted a lot of them, but in reality, I tried to spare you too many.  But I do have beautiful kids ya know.
We started the day bringing him breakfast in bed.  Well, breakfast on the green room floor.  The favorite place to sleep when it is not a school night.
Then we went to Annie's last basketball game.  (James's was last Thursday).  It was fun.  Mia is funny.  She gets attached to someone and won't let them go.  She was attached to Spencer for the game.  Jason sat on Spencer and Mia threw a huge fit.  Spencer was hers.
Mia was a diva in her lipgloss and shades.

Then we took off for the infamous CHUCK E. CHESSE.  Where a kid can be a kid.
Love this photo.
Oh, smiles galore.
It was really funny. If I am getting the story right, Ethan told Kylie to throw her pizza.  So she did, right into his face.  Oops.  Halarious.
Jackpots were won tons.  Tickets galore.
I slacked off ordering his costco cake and the basketball one had rasberry filling.  Who likes rasberry filling?  So we went with the girly cake and the cream cheese center.  Yummy Yummy Yummy.
Oh no. Annie and Jason puked on the table. ha ha . That is why daddy helps them redeem their prizes and not mommy. daddy is more fun.
Loot, Loot and more crappy Loot.

Lots of awesome gifts, thanks guys.

Make a wish

The party.  whoot whoot

Jamie loved the sun.  He only ate a few bites.  It was soooooooooooooo  big.

Josh drew mustaches on the girls. They looked great going into the aquarium.

Which leads me to my next set of photos.  The aqarium.
My kids are good fighters.  They were actually fighting over this giant frog.  They stopped to pose for me.  Aren't they so sweet?
Lots of touching of the sting rays.  ick.
Precious cousins.
Mia was attached to Josh at the aquarium.  She kept running after him.  Poor guy had to carry her around all day.
Jason enjoyed touching all the cool creatures.
Love the poses in a boat photo.
Annie is a tree climber .  Look at her go.
Mia coudn't be left out.  Gotta keep up with the big kids.
Sillies.  They look so awkward.
I took this super cool photo of an aligator.  Don't you love it?
How cool is that?  Annie is as big as a paguine.  Where is Dick Van Dyke when you need him?  :)
This is how we all felt on the way home.  Busy, busy day.  We love you James, Thanks for having a birthday so we can enjoy a fun day.
