TodaysMama's Holiday Wishlist

TodaysMama and Provo Craft are giving away a sleighful of gifts this holiday season and to enter I’m sharing this meme with you.

(I really, really, really want to win this super bad.  I wish I was a lucky person!!)


1. What 5 items are on your holiday wish list this year?
       * a netbook computer
       * anything having to do with scrapbooking
       * games, I love games (any board game or super mario for the wii looks fun also.  4 people can play)
       * a nap and/or maid
       * more time with husband and or children.  I love just haniging out wih my family.


2. What is your favorite handmade gift you have received?
       * Is this bad?  I can't come up with anything.

3. What handmade gift have you always wanted to tackle?
       *modge podge cute paper on wooden holiday or name letter blocks.  Maybe someday.

4. What was the best Christmas gift you received as a child?
       * light bright or electric drum set

5. What items are on your kid’s wish list this year?
       * the 2 little ones want ds lites so they can be like the big kids.  Ipods and transformers

6. What is your favorite holiday food?
       * penoche, hors devors (family joke - on new years)
7. What will you be hand-crafting for the holidays?
       * I can't tell you.  I am making a girt for someone who might read this.  All thanks to MyLyn.  She has
         some great ideas.
8. What is your favorite holiday movie?
       * Emmet Otter's Jug band Christmas  (classic)
       * Mr. Kruegers Christmas  (just made my kids sit through it, their generation is not easily amused I like  
          was.) 
       * The Chrismas Story (John and I watch this as we get stuff ready christmas eve)

9. Favorite holiday song? (This one is hard)
       * I, of course, love them all.  But I love dancing around the house to Cyndi Laupers "Early Christmas 
          Morning".  We do that after we set up the tree and keep dancing until new years!!!! 
       * The Muppets Christmas with John Denver cd is fabulous.  Maybe I love it so much because that
           is what I listened to  when I was growing up (on a record of course).  The sad thing is I can't find the
          cd this year.  I guess  I have to go get a new one. 

10. Favorite holiday pastime?
      *  I am not quite sure what a holiday pastime is.  But I guess what I ejoy doing at holiday time.  I love
          being with my family and playing games and watching movies and sledding and drinking hot coco and
          eating all the fun holiday treats and shopping and the list could go on and on.  For the past 9 years, the
          kids have danced in Miss Margenes Nutcracker. That is always busy and fun.
