Our Labor Day Weekend (sorry, it is a bit on the depressing side)

Well, our Labor Day weekend was lame. That is the only word I can come up with . . . Oh wait, horrible also comes to mind. Sorry, maybe I will take pictures tomorrow. I have not taken any, too gross and depressing. All my family was together one hour away (My parents are going on a mission to Latvia. It was a last get together and to be there while they were set apart). John went to Dallas to go to the BYU game (Byu won by the way. John had a great time!!!) I was stuck, home bound with 9 kids while we passed the stomach flu around. blech. Pretty exciting, yes? We started this whole flu thing last tuesday. Hopefully we finished it off last night. Basically all we did all weekend was watch movies (we haven't had the vcr up and running for years, so it was fun to watch old vhs. Like princess bride, toy story ect. ) We also played some games and then we had to clean up after the little kids from their terrorizing while we watched the movies. We also watched some on tv like my big fat greek wedding. (Becca and I were the only ones watching by the end. Too much kissing for the others. They lasted longer because I made choco chip cookies.)

John had his ticket to stay longer in Dallas to see his sister, but she moved. So then he was going to see my brother-in-law, but he came here to Utah, so John is stuck in his hotel room all day with . . . the stomach flu!!!! (sorry dwayne). Anyway, I did get some scrapbooking done. Oh wait, my 2 2 year old rug rats ripped all the pictures and stuff off my pages (that I will post later). Wow, this post is really depressing. Sorry. I will venture out into the real world tomorrow. We are almost out of cereal and milk. Oh, and I have a 50% off coupon at Micheals. So, the sun will come out, tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow, there'll be sun. . . should I keep going? I thought not. I will go to bed now. Goodnight

Sorry Labor day weekend didn't pan out...and it sounds like you guys had it bad! Hopefully you'll be good for the rest of the season and you can read all about everyone else's flu experiences...except mine!! :)

The marker incident is bad. I would have gone crazy.

Loved the birthday cake from the Hunt side of the family party. It was really cute!

That was a depressing post. It sounds like that time we locked outselves in the appartment for the weekend, closed the blinds and did nothing but watch movies, eat $5 pizza, soda, and cheap cookies. We didn't have the flu but we sure felt sick by the time the weekend was over. Do you remeber that? So funny, I love that memory.

You are quite the trooper to not only deal with all that mess but to have energy enough to blog about it! The flu is so nasty...I hope it stays away from our home this year.

PS- I don't remember that video! That would be really fun to see. I don't remember us ever fighting...maybe I have a selective memory. I know that we were thick as theives! Most of my best memories from that time include you. Remember the "killer cows" from Thanksgiving? HA, we were so funny!!!
