I love staying home

Wow, I have blogged a lot today. Way cool. So I had to post todays adventures. My 3 extra went to a visit that I didn't have to transport to, so Jason, Mia and I enjoyed going for a walk. Mia pushed her new stroller that Aunt Faith gave her for her b-day and Jason rode his bike. I just stayed in the middle trying to keep an eye on both. Good thing that moms have eyes in the back of their heads. (or at least that is what my kids think). After we were home, the extras came back and the lady who drove them was a nutjob who kept going on and on about her boyfriend (she has 6 grandkids) who is in prison and what a good job he is doing and on and on. Keep in mind, today is the first time I have met her. So I finally get rid of her and I look and Mia has gotten her arms covered in marker, plus the floor, table, bench and the wall and then gave the marker to B. who got it all over her arms. To top it off, Jason won't get his hands out of his pocket. He has covered his hands too. I just had to laugh. My hands are all covered from just cleaning them up. And we had 10 min. until we had to leave the house for an appointment. Ugh, calgon, take me away. Anyway, here are some pictures from today. I just have to remind myself that I DO love kids.

Everytime I would hold my camera to my face, she would stop and pose until my camera was down, then she would walk again.

Another pose.

my bike riding fool.

I finally got an unposed one.

This was so funny. His back tire was up so he was just spinning. He was bent over, pedaling furiously trying to get himself out. I love 4 year olds.

Here is the green marker. notice the carpet also.

That is B.'s arm.

Both of Mia's arms.

and my wall. I am sure I will find green marker in lots of fun places for a while now.

I am glad I am not the only mother to struggle with the dredded "marker" attack. It almost looks like she drew a smily face for you on the carpet, how cute! LOL
But you are right, there is nothing better than staying home and embracing the insanity of motherhood :).

Hey, I was just reading through some old post on my blog an thought you would get a kick out of my post from January 24th 2009. There are 2 fun pictures from our college days.

Do you have a lot of pictures from that time frame? I wonder if I could get my hands on copies of them if you do. I have some but I wish I had a digital camera back then so I would have tons.
