Amelia's birthday

I cannot believe that my baby is 2. Why does time go by so dang fast? She is so fun right now. We were really blessed to finish off with her. She loves sleep. She loves to sleep in. When she does wake up, just just waits for you to go get her. If you lay her down and she is not tired, she just hangs out in bed until she does sleep. She is so happy. I can tell she is 2. She loves to say "mine" and "I want that" or "I hate that". I could go on and on but instead I will tell you about yesterday. I took the little 5 to a few stores looking for her gifts. I am a procrastinator and I did not get anything in advance. Infact, the day before I was talking to my sister and I said. "oh, wait, it is your birthday, happy birthday oh, and if it is your birthday, that means Mia's is tomorrow." I know, I know, I am a bad person. Anyway so we went shopping and she fell in love with a little people camper and car. I got it plus a few other things and when we got home, she was digging throught the bags looking for "my toy". She adored it. When John got home, we took off for Ihop. I forgot my camera. Can you believe I would do something like that? Construction was too bad to us to turn around and go get it, so I had to go without. I would have loved it just to take pictures of peoples faces when we walked in. Mouths hit the floor. I just wanted to announce, "Yes, I have a lot of children. 9 kids ages 11 and under of which 5 are 4 and younger. We will do the best we can so that their behavior does not in any way affect the ambiance of your dinner here at this fine establishment." And if I must say so myself, they were very well behaved.
After dinner of a whole bunch of create-a-faces the workers sang to mia and gave her a bowl full of ice cream and whipped cream. She proceded to stick her tongue in it. It was so cute. She pretty much ate the whole thing, with a little help. It was so cute. She was covered in mess, but we had a good dinner. Then we came home and opened more gifts and unfortunetly it was bed time. So that was her exciting day. Gotta love being 2. Here are some of my favorite photos.

Sometimes, pictures just don't so my kids justice. She is a very cute girl. I hope you can tell.

She was nice enough to share. Everyone loved her new toys. I haven't bought new little people stuff in a long time since we had so much, but they have got some really cute stuff out there.

This is her camper toy that she loved.

She is showing off her BYU cheerleading dress.

Do you like my wrapping? Cause I'm fancy like that.

The box was bigger than she is.

Future BYU Grad. We can put this picture up at her graduation party.

The anticipation was killing her.

Well, there you have it. my baby.
