Lagoon

Grandma Hunt took us to Lagoon. After all my last posts that have a gynormous amounts of pictures, I was just going to post a few of my favorite shots. However, as I was going through them with a big smile on my face, I ended up with quite a few instead. Most of them are of the little kids because it is hard to take pictures on the big exciting rides. Enjoy.

This was our first ride. I took the younger 3 while John took the older 3 on some rides. The kids loved this. I was surprised they let me take Mia. This dragon went super fast.

She was a little unsure at what she was getting in to.

Maybe I should have cropped this one a little closer. They were really excited to ride this but after they were going, Annie got a little nervous. She said this was like tower of terror. ha ha.

They had too much fun. If Mia couldn't go on a ride, she would cry and throw a fit. She learned quick that rides were fun. She hasn't been on anything since our last trip to Disneyland last October.

I love the Samurai. It is so fun. If you haven't been to Lagoon in a while, you need to go. There are so many more exciting rides than the last time I went 10 years ago. I know that is sad. This ride and wicked are my new favorite lagoon rides.

The ferris wheel.

Annie is a nervous nelly. She was a trooper though. I got her to agree to just try all the rides once. If she doesn't like it, she doesn't have to go again.

She was freaking out a bit.

I was also surprised they let amelia go on this ride. It went really fast with little protection from falling out.

Everyone loves the tilt-a-whirl.

We were going into the dracula ride. This was everyones scared look.
ohhh, scray grandma.

Not very scary becca.

Wow, that is the scariest yet.

Mia loved the Octopus ride. It is like dumbo with spitting dolfins. She got it right in the face. We were pretty wet after this ride.

We decided to go on this water ride. It was really wet and fun.

I refused to go because I hate wet feet all day in tennis shoes. Annie still needed a partner and John told me that his feet didn't get wet so I should just take her. Well, I did.

I got drenched. I could wring my pants out for at least an hour, and yes, my feet were wet for the rest of the day. we got so wet.

Mia was so cute waving to everyone below us.

We went on the cliffhanger and poor John got the pleasure of having a thing poor buckets and buckets of water on his head. He was drenched, and yes, karma I guess because he had wet feet the rest of the day also.

Becca got a lot of water on that ride also. She was smart and wore fast drying clothes.

This was a big giggling ride. They would make themselves bounce around and thought it was hilarious.

Right after this picture, the ride broke down and they were stuck for 30 mins. They were lucky though, because when the pump broke, the water fall didn't go on them. They (except for annie) did not get wet. They (along with other people stuck) were screaming Ice cream and they pursued it and ended up getting us all free ice cream. pictures later.

Entertaining Mia was a joke. Good thing Grandma was there to help, with her chapstick. This is Mia licking the chapstick off her lips. too funny

They were finally free.

Poor Annies bum was the only thing that got really wet.

She finally gave in and crashed.

The big 3 and I with Grandma went to Wicked. It had been broken but was finally fixed so we did that along with the spider and the wildmouse while John took the little kids on these fun little rides.

They were nice enough to let Annie take Mia on a bunch of rides.

Here we are with our giant ice cream cones.

YUM

This picture pretty much sums up how we all were feeling.

John and Cassie were the only ones who ate their whole ice cream cone. Grandma ate it down to the paper and Becca ate to the cone. They are good sick fakers aren't they? Well, that is our really, really fun day. I could bore you with even more pictures, but I will call it a day.
