I will write about my great hubby though. He has been super suportive through this whole thing. He was gun-ho about running with me and training with me until his knee surgery wouldn't let him, so instead he just cheered me along and took pictures along the way.
I am all ready :)
This was by far the biggest race that I ran in. When we were going up to register, there was not many people I thought I could beat and I thought that would be pretty funny if I was last. But it turned out I was in the slower of the pack, but finished a long while in front of others. So I was okay.
I did not beat this guy. He came in first.
In my age group, 30-34, I was #32 of 38 with an official time of 41:55.2. I was a little slower than my last race, but I stopped for a drink and I had a horrible sideache so I walked a bit more. Oh well. Yeah me.
This is what I came home to. Becca was in charge while we were gone since I didn't want to wake everyone up before 7 when they had had friends over for a "princess protection party sleepover" and they were up super late. The little kids were supposed to wake becca up when they got up and she even got in her bed so they would find her. They all slept all morning and becca even got to sleep the lastest.
Anyway, there you go, I did it. I am done with it. To all my family I inspired to run and are still running, you are slackers for not joining me and forcing me to do it all myself.
p.s. if you are interested, the link for all the runners and times in the race is http://www.wvc-ut.gov/index.aspx?nid=839#%206
