Lawn Work

You know, I probably wouldn't mind yard work if I didn't have to do the inside of the house also. It is just way hard to keep up with both. While we are outside, the inside seems to magically get trashed.
So guess what? I mowed the lawn for the first time since high school. I know, I am patting myself on the back right now. The only thing is I still hated it. We also are trying to get a garden put in. We had one at our last house and I have hated not having home grown tomatoes. They are the best thing in the entire universe. But since my life is like a chapter out of the "If you give a mouse a cookie" series, there was a ton of work to do before I can have my garden and before I can have my tomatoes. Here is me mowing the lawn. I was mowing it because of Johns knee. The ground is just too unsteady for him to be trudging around on it.

Here is John watching me mow. I know, I am spetacular. What can I say.

We spent all day outside last sat. poor becca was sunburned and John and my face got a bit toasty. We were sore for days. I will keep you updated on our garden as it progresses.

I miss grass. :( In Arizona most people have gravel. Yuck. But I guess it's a whole lot less work!

We're trying a garden this year too. At least we will once Blue Stake comes out and lets us know if we can dig in the only place we have for a garden.
