So it was time for the annual Miss Margenes nutcracker. It always makes for a long week, but we keep coming back, so we must enjoy it, right? (I wanted to edit and play with pictures, unfortunately, that is not going to happen.) The kids all had a great time. It is getting more difficult the older and busier the kids get. Becca had a band concert at 6:30 that she was told she would flunk band if she missed and the Nutcracker started at 7. So we had a lot of running back and forth and trying to juggle the other dancers as well as the twins and Z. There was also a choir concert. I sure do wish I could clone myself sometimes. I need a sister or mom to move close to me just to give me extra hands!!! Anyway, here are some photos. If their hair is not cute, it is because I took it during the rehearsal and I apologize for the blurry and really not so good pictures, but it seems to take me until the performance is over to remember how to make my camera works in low light and zoom. Oh well, here they are. . .
Becca was a soldier. Doesn't everyone love a soldier in spandex?
Cassie, Miss Mouse.
B and C VS. A and J (Becca and Cassie each killed their friends Allie and Jessie.)
Annie danced an Irish jig.
See Becca in the back? That was her band concert we ran too.
Then we hustled from the Jr. high to the high school. Becca wasn't very happy that I wanted to taker her photo in the parking lot. ha ha I also made the mistake of not giving Mia a nap that day. She was so tired. big, big mistake.
There is the sweet teddy bear. Right before she went on. She did a great job for her first time dancing on a stage in front of so many people.
That's my baby!!!
Spandex sweeties.
I thought Becca looked like she was supposed to be a super hero. Is it a bird, is it a plane, no it's the super spandex soldiers to the rescue.
But don't forget . . . . mighty mouse!!!!
Cassies friend Brooke came to watch. She was really sweet and brought flowers.
The traditional photo in front of our puny Christmas Tree.
Becca's friend Tristi went to watch her. Super fun.
(I think Cassie's outfit is just as horrendous as Becca's. She looks like she is wearing her grandpa's suit.
James during his choir concert. (The girls had to skip this since they were in the nutcracker, so Grandpa Hunt met Z., the twins and me here while John watched the girls dance.
Jasons first choir concert. He was so cute.
