I am a Halloween Scrouge

Hello. My name is Melissa and I hate Halloween.

One of my favorite movies is Meet me in St. Louis. In that movie, it has what halloween was like in the early 1900's. Now that looks fun. I can handle that. Going around, scaring people, burning furniture in the street. Today, it is the who can buy the best costume to just get free candy.  And I have to buy it for other peoples kids.   It also bugs me that I have to dress up kids so many times in a row. So here are some photos from the first time I had to dress someone up. Mia had her Miss Margene Halloween party. Zoe dressed up with her. Mia was so excited. She wore her costume for so long before we left, that her poor feet were dead by the time we got to her school. Then, all the way there, Mia kept telling me to drive faster. Too cute.

  Dang she is cute.

 They got a little sweaty.

Beauty is pain.  She wore these dang high heels all morning (except for the actual program.  ha ha ) and she has her poor sore toe to show for it.  boo hoo.

I am glad to hear there is another person on the planet who dislikes halloween as much as I do. I think it's terrible but the kids love it so what's a mom to do?!!

I really need a lesson on how to do girls' hair!! You are amazing! Poor toe! With Halloween on Sunday this year, the kids can't trick or treat, so we are just doing a trunk or treat at the church. Then, I told the kids they could choose their favorite bag of candy and I would get it for them. Then, on Sunday night, we will sit around and they can eat the whole bag while we play games. I agreee....I hate Halloween!!
