Boo Hoo Jr. High

Yep, I have a junior high kid.  Crazy, isn't it?  It makes me nervous because of all the language and it is real life.  I have lost all control.  Oh well, at least she is a good kid.  (She came home from riding the bus saying that she doesn't have clean ears anymore.  The language is horrific.)  She is having fun and enjoying school, so that is all I can ask for.  She was a little nervous about messing up and going to the wrong class and not being able to get her locker opened.  But since I still have dreams about that as an adult, I think she will do fine.  We have all been traumatized by that. On Friday before school started, they had an orientation day just for the 7th graders.   They got to spend 15 mins. in class and learn all the rules.  Like walk on the right side, no food or drinks in the hall and no kissing, just holding hands.  What the huh?  They shouldn't be holding hands until college.  Who wrote these rules?  Obviously no one with a 7th grader.

Here is her locker . . .

complete with organization stuff.  She wouldn't survive with a messy locker.

Allie and Jessie and their lockers.

Mylie and her locker.

They also got to practice eating lunch.  That was pretty fun for her.

She's not tall or anything ;)

And, here she is on the first day.  How cute is she?????

I wasn't allowed to take photos of her getting on the bus, so I had to just get her back as she walked to Baileys to go to the bus.

There you have it.  There is no going back  Homework here we come.
