Spring survival

I keep thinking that life will slow down, but I am beginning  to understand that it is just going to go faster and faster.  It seems like yesterday that I was trying to find things to do.  We would wander the mall in the winter because they had play lands there and I would count the hours until John got home.  Now, the days fly and I cherish ones that I don't have to leave the house. They are few and far between. But do you ever feel deliriously happy?  It is happening way too often lately which means we have a trial coming.  (knock on wood  ;)  but seriously, we have had some really great days lately.  I will try not to bore you with too many photos.

Miss Holy Mouth

East Canyon, here we come.

Lots of hill sliding

We did tennis, shuffle board and hiking.  I was too busy playing to get photos of us playing tennis.  Oh well.

There we are back at the condo.  We didn't hike.  Cassie got a tick last year so she was too freaked out to go and I stayed back with Mia.

There are the hikers.  What a good lookin bunch.

Went swimming.  this is becca the flamingo.

Mr. crazy hair at the splash park.

Daddy was playing patonk, (I dont know how to spell it.  It is bocce ball with metal balls.)  He threw his ball up and thunck.  Hit a bird.  Oops.  I don't think he could have if he tried.  Poor thing died.  John felt horrible.  So sad.

Then we roasted the worlds biggest marshmallows.  They were yummy.  I love winco.

Yep, big marshmallows.

There was enough to go all over her face.  She loved them, wait, we all loved them.

Alex Graduated.  It was really fun to go.  A little hot and long, but the kids did great and we are super proud of her.  She worked really hard and overcame lots of health obstacles.  We love you Alex!!

I turned this into . . .

This.  What do you think?  Do you like it Dad?  This rocking bench has been with my family since I can remember.  I got it from my parents years ago and bought paint for it 2 years ago.  I finally painted it.  I love it.  I also found these cute outside pillows that matched perfectly.

Becca is learning to do this.
Hope you enjoyed.  Hope your summers are going well.

Dad said, "Nice porch swing. Love the blue and white color. It will look great on MY deck when you return what you borrowed!"

Did you know Dad bought that porch swing at an auction and that it used to belong to a boy I dated? Ewww...it looks TONS better now! It is really awesome. And I know what you mean about the days. They do go by so fast. We have to enjoy every minute.
