Cassie, Becca and I went to Texas for my neices birthday. We met up with my sister, Laura, and her daughter, Kylie. It was such a great trip and really nice to hangout with my kids. I miss my neices so much. They are really great kids and they are so much fun. I wish there was more words to describe "Fun". Here is some of our adventures. . .
(I really enjoy editing and playing with photos, but I am not in the mood, so you just get regular photos. Sorry :)
The first picture was hanging out at the airport. There was a huge line for security so I took the kids to the family line and we walked right in. It was a great flight.
No Complaints
When I flew with B and C to Disneyland last October, this guy was our flight attendent. The girls thought it was super cool. He thought I was on the crazy side when I asked for a photo. Oh well.
What I want to know is why do we not have Popeyes out west? Wow, it was really really yummy.
Counsin Time
Can't wait to go get more cousins
Alli and Jessie were still in school, so what did we do? You got it, we hit the pool. Whoo Hoo!
We finally found a bathing suit that fit her. Now to try to find Cassie one, hum, that will be rough.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh, SUN!!!!!!
I thought this photo was funny. It looks like Jay was blowing the water, when it was really one of the girls jumping in. He was getting the pool ready for a party. yeah.
This is my cute little swimmer, Allison. She is great in the water. (This is coming from a grown woman who still plugs her nose. ha ha)
This was a sign in the bathroom. How funny is that!!!
That night, we stayed up way too late. We were having so much fun watching youtube videos and being silly as quiet as we could.
"You keep me spining around"
Then came the game of one spinner and the others jumpers. It was hard to do quietly, but we managed, well, they did. I just shot photos.
Poor Allie was too sleepy to play with us. She was saving up her energy for party time the next day.
Here is some more silliness and foolishness.
On our way to the outlet malls, we stopped by to take a peek at Lauras old house. That was lots of fun. I have many fun memories at her house.
We can entertain ourselves wherever we go. I haven't seen Teletubbies in a super long time. Have you?
Yeah for couch Jay.
This was the cutest, most delicious cake I have ever eaten. I could marry this cake. It is that good. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Sad, isn't it?
PARTY TIME
and a pool party at that. How fun is that.
The happy birthday girl. Cute, huh?
The party girls, minus one.
Nancy, Gary, Misty and Mistys and her son Mason stopped by. It was really great to see them.
Mr. BBQ himself.
If you want to wrap yourself in a box and jump out at the birthday girl, try to have a little more preparation then just a great big box. I'm just sayin'.
Fail, but a good laugh.
I need to have a birthday party with Allison friends. She got tons of cute clothes and $100 in cash and $45 in Justice gift cards.
Lucky ducky
All in all, it was a great party. Lots and lots of tweens.
Oh, this cake is calling my name.
(Why oh why is this photo still small?)
So, after the kids were done swimming, they were playing with a ball around the pool. Kylie managed to fall in.
So Becca and Cassie decided that they didn't want her to have all the fun. They said, 1, 2, 3. But didn't jump in. Then wham. In they jumped. ha ha
They spent over an hour in the pool in their clothes.
I was debating weather or not to split these photos into different posts, but decided to just have one long post. Thanks for hanging in there.
No mothers day should be spent by a grave. It is just not okay. But these girls are so strong and so brave and they are just enjoying every day of their lives. I just love them.
Group shot
Then we headed off to Nancy and Gary's house. We walked into the door and were met with roses and non-alcholoic champagne.
We had such a great time. Dinner and company were so good, it was a nice day.Yummy pot roast.
The next day, I did a great job forgeting my camera when we went to Allisons school to eat lunch with her. I took one with my phone. I will post that soon. After lunch, we went back home and hit the pool. I coudn't resist. The only problem was that the water was freezing. It was like a polar plunge. But it was super fun. I love playing with the kids.
Little birdys enjoying some resees pieces. Oh, I love these kids.
Hamburgers bigger than their heads.
This is the sad dead bird that poor, poor, Alli stepped on. 3/4 of a bottle of dishsoap and a hotub to the resuce.
We had to leave. That was very sad. Laura and Kylie left first.
We had a few hours to kill at the airport so we goofed around on the tram and had a yummy breakfast. Then we had a great flight home.

Fun, fun, fun Aunt Melissa!! When did you jump up in favorite aunt status?? (OK, I was probably never there, but still...do you have to flaunt it???) That cake did look really good! Alli playing soccer in her shades was priceless! I love Jess' hair too! What fun, what fun!
