We went sledding at this fun ginormous hill. I posted some of my foavorite photos in a previous blog. But I love taking pictures, so I had a lot to choose from. I hope I chose cute ones. Enjoy!!!
Jason had sooooooooo much fun. He is at such a fun age. It is a lot of work for him but he loves sledding.
Even the crashes were fun.
Wes, Becca and Annie went to the very top of the hill. Annie ended up cruising down from the highest point. Which really surprised me since she is my nervous nelly. She surprised all of us so no photo, but she loved it.
The weather was perfect. We were all even hot under all of our layers. Aunt Sissy was nice enough to lend Cassie her sweatshirt since Cass was dying of heat.
The snow was disappearing and turning into sand.
I loved the bales of hay stuck up to protect kids from trees.
Mia is a fabulous sledder, it is hard to keep her down.
Some cousins were even nice enough to help up the hill also.
Even made trains. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
Brett was sweet enough to let the kids try out his snowboard.
This is the hill. It is funny how the snow was slowly moving down the hill. It is a dang big hill, though.
The next day, we went to their Rec center and went swimming. That was lots of fun. It was hard, but I got up the guts to jump off the diving board. Poor Cassie tried but she got to nervous and they wouldn’t let her get down with out a life gaurd helping her. It was pretty humiliating for her. But I was super proud that she tried. It took a lot for her to climb up and give it a shot. She is awesomical!!!
After the rec center, the van was acting funny. When we got back to Sis’s house, the van wouldn’t start. So John and Doug jumped it and tried to drive it to their friends shop. Unfortunately, they didn’t get very far. It died down the street. Here it is being towed away, tear, tear. Since it was New Years Eve day, the shops closed and they couldnt get the new alternator until Monday, so Sis’s family was stuck with us for days. The bad part is that there is 9 of us, you can’t just squeeze us into a car. So we were pretty much stuck at her house. we went to dinner for Cassies b-day. She chose ihop. Poor Doug had to take 2 trips to get us there and back. But it was fun.
There was a line to get into the van.
These 2 crazys got huge steak and eggs and pancakes.
Very stuffed.
While we were waiting for our ride home, we played in the parking lot. Here is our painful pyramid, painful for Wes that is, he was in shorts.
I will end on this cool panoramic. I need to go to sleep.
