13 years 6 kids and 79 foster kids and we forgot.

When people say they have forgotten anniversaries and birthdays, I have never understood. How do you forget stuff like that. Well, today I saw yesterdays date and said "wait a minute. What is today?" The reply was December 27th. "Ummmm, Happy anniversary. Oops." Yes, we forgot our anniversary. You have to cut us some slack. We don't do anniversary gifts since it is so close to Christmas. Or sometimes we combine the gifts. So, yes. I guess we are just too busy having way lots of fun with all our kids. John made a yummy dinner. I slept though most of the making of it. yeah me. Thomas is spending the night. Him and James are playing with new legos. And we are singing Disney karaoke on the wii. I rock at the Jonas Brothers songs. Here are a few of our wedding pictures. Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner, so I had to take a picture of a picture. Very old school. So they don't look the best, but you can deal, can’t you?  Here you go . . .  101_0534 This one is outside the Salt Lake Temple. 101_0543 I had to put this one on.  This was all my parents grandchildren 13 years ago.  Now they are up to 22.  (I hope that is right.  I hope I didn’t miss any.  That would be bad.)  Josh, the oldest is 20 and Mya the youngest is coming up on 6 months.  101_0541
Sorry, you have to hold your head sideways to see these.  But it was fun to see my family so young.
101_0538 Here is another picture of us.  Love it!!!!  It was so cold that day.  We have had our share of problems and sickness and trials, but we have had an eventful, wonderful, and happy past 13 years.  Here is to the next 87.  P.S.  In our defense, I did have to teach Relief Society today.  It was my first time teaching adults before and I was a nervous wreck.  And John taught his regular young mens lesson.

Now to make John love me even more, I am posting this video of him karaoking to Miley Cyrus song.

Happy late anniversary Melissa! And I had missed some of your entries, and while your dinner swap idea is awesome, sorry that you ended up in stitches. :( I am now thinking that I need to try this dinner swap with some friends. Love all the cute pictures (not your finger ones, although they were totally cool), the kids ones were the cute ones. :)

Great singing, John. We are a little disappointed that you knew the tune so well! :) Happy Anniversary!
