We got our shed put up. It was miserable. Especially with 9 kids to take care of. Poor cassie had to babysit. (Don't feel too bad, I didn't make her do diaper duty. I have 4 in diapers you know.) We started Friday afternoon and we finished up on Sat. night. It took 18 hrs. (That is not entirely true, John and Becca fixed the doors I put together wrong on Sunday when they went to make sure everything was put away because of rain.) It was horrifyingly horrible. Becca helped us do a lot. We have had that dang thing in our garage forever. It will be nice to have John parking in the garage again. Oh, and Dad, you still owe us!! I hope you got some help when you put up yours at your new house. Those suckers have a lot of screws.
Here are some pictures from this weekend. Keep in mind, the kids are a mess because we didn't do hair or anything. And if they are not appropriately dressed, it is because we have a water table they love to play in so they play in their diapers. That is way too much laundry to have to change them everytime they played in it. So please don't pay attention to their hair and clothes.

I was glad that Becca is so tall and skinny. She was a huge help. It was hard and she stuck with us. There were times that we were standing on each others shoulders trying to get parts screwed in. I know, poor John, he is still sore from me standing on him. I am glad John didn't kill me when I told him on friday that that was how we were spending our 1st weekend in a long time that was not scheduled out.

Annie and James helped a bit also. Annie did great putting washers on screws for us and James was a good holder upper. Jason spent most of his day in the sand box. That is his favorite place to be.

We already hated it and we had just started.

Cute girls.

3 amigos wandering around eating pizza.

Cassie was a great babysitter.

Still eating pizza

Water table fun.

Cassie even got out the play-doh for everyone to enjoy.
I am glad it is over. So is my house. It was trashed by the time we were done. I will get an "it's all done photo" soon.

We, or I guess I should say Chris built a shed a few years back. It took him forever and he didn't have any fun either but we are sure happy to have to put all of our stuff into!
The picture of Becca standing behind the shed cracks me up! I'm just glad she didn't get stuck back there. It's so wonderful having older children who can help us out!
Kev built a shed a couple years ago. Except, he went to Home Depot and took pics of their sheds inside and out and then built his own. I had nothing to do with it though. :) So you have more kids now? I need to find the scoop on this one, I missed it. Also, I checked out Brian's blog and see that he's in HI. I loved that he is a drummer for the PCC, those guys are awesome!! He should feel like celebrity there.
