Cassies 4th grade assembly

Cassie was in the 4th grade assembly at school today. She did so great. They have been practicing the virginia reel. A teacher watched them and pick some kids to dance in the assembly. Cassie wanted to be picked so bad. She came home yesterday sad because she wasn't picked. She told me, "Mom, I even touched a boy. People who got picked wouldn't touch their partner, but I touched a boy and didn't even get picked." Poor girl. She did get to demonstrate a toy the pioneers played with. She did a fantastic job.

James had alot of fun in the pre-asembly entertainment. I know, I know he needs a hair cut super duper bad.

Jason looking so very Jasonish. Do you like the winter coat, crooked hat, gloves 5 sizes to big, and sandles on the wrong feet? Some fights are just not worth it. For the record, I did try to convince him that it was snowing so he needed boots on, but to no avail. He went outside, came back in and informed me he was wearing his sandles. Oh well.

As cassie just told me, she was surrounded by boys. She is also correcting my spelling. Good thing crooked was on her spelling list this week.
